A CV with a punch
Your CV should reflect who you are, where you have been and where you want to go. Here are some tips on how to achieve this.
Your curriculum vitae is your passport to a more fulfilling career. You only get one chance per job application so make sure you get it right! Here are some tips that you might want to consider:
Keep it short and to the point. Do not ramble or the reader will lose interest quickly.
Include a short introduction of yourself which you can adapt to the positions you apply for. No one wants to read an application for a job that has obviously been mass produced – make the person reading your CV feel special!
Do not be afraid to express the real “you” in your application – the company is looking to employ a person, not a robot.
Consider including a paragraph about your hobbies – you may find yourself being interviewed by a fellow jogger or music lover..
